Astro Arena is a multiplayer beat-em-up party game where you and your friends fight each other in outer space. Fly around and dash into others to send them flying out of the arena at lightning quick speeds!
/// For Astro Arena, I crafted the sound effects in Cubase, primarily using synthesis and sample-based manipulation to create impactful audio that complements the fast-paced gameplay. These sounds were integrated into Unity’s audio engine to ensure precise timing and spatialization, providing immersive and responsive feedback during intense multiplayer battles.
/// The music was also produced in Cubase, with all instruments—guitars, drums, bass synths—live tracked to capture an authentic heavy metal feel that supports the beat-em-up brawl atmosphere. I implemented the adaptive music system using FMOD, enabling dynamic, real-time transitions that respond seamlessly to player actions and the evolving intensity of matches.
